About Katherine
Coursework on subjects I know and love and have made many an outline for in past years. I regularly attend talks and read books and articles to update my knowledge. I will teach a general overview first so you get a good grounding in the subject first. Much of the historiography assumes knowledge of the basic subject area. I will provide you that basic knowledge and go over what the main theories in the historiography say, so you will be able to read articles and know what theory the author is following or at least what they were in debate with.

I will teach a broad range view on the historical time period so students know what happened. From there, I will teach what are the general theories in the historiography students might see. I will also try to teach it as about people reacting to events, as that makes why events unfolded the way they did make more sense and helps situate their actions in a historical timeline.
