About Marissa
I graduated from Stony Brook University in 2020 with my BSc in Biochemistry and from NYU in 2022 with my MPH in Epidemiology. I have always been passionate about learning and understand juggling life, jobs, and studying. I make excellent study guides and enjoy reviewing them with others. Some fun facts about me are that I love crocheting, enjoy working out, and I have studied abroad. I am currently working towards a PhD in Population Health and am interested in public health research.

Student-led sessions where the student brings questions and topics to discuss are available. I also like to discuss ahead of time the course syllabus and any topics such that I can create a lesson plan beforehand! Sessions can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours and can be for more than one subject at a time. Sessions can be remote or in-person (in the Suffolk County area). Students can expect a conducive learning environment as I am very patient and passionate about making students comfortable to ask questions and learn at their own pace!
