About Rosanna
I’ve taught since I was 16 and teaching has been a constant part of my life since then. I have gone on train as a fully qualified teacher, completing my postgraduate at UCL, the top university in the UK for teaching qualifications, and I teach in two private schools in the UK. I am also an experienced performer, specialising in orchestral and historical performance.

I have taught instrumental playing throughout my career, and my passion for teaching as well as playing has led me to training as a primary school teacher at London’s Institute of Education, UCL. I aim to cater for every student as an individual, depending on age, ability and goal. I’m experienced as a teacher of neurodiverse children and adults alike, and teach absolute beginners to diploma standard. I can teach beginner jazz and musicianship.
My approach is based on the student and their goals. I have studied in classes with some of the leading players in Europe and I have always been a performer who seeks to create their own path as an artist. The technique I teach is very structured. I can teach both French and German bow, and I aim to teach with the enhancement of musicianship as well as double bass playing so that you as a performer can feel confident.
