About Ashlyn
Music should be exciting, and I love helping students discover their own voice and rhythm! With over 6 years of experience in piano and vocal training, I’ve taught everyone from 4-year-olds to 72-year-olds. My lessons are creative, engaging, and tailored to each student—whether you’re just starting out, chasing a dream, or simply playing for joy. From operatic stages abroad to rocking out in bands, I bring real performance energy into the classroom. Learning with me means building skill, confidence, and passion while having fun every step of the way.

I’m a St. Olaf College graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Music and Education, and I’ve spent 6+ years teaching piano and voice to students ages 4–72. From performing opera abroad to rocking out in bands, I bring real-world experience into every lesson. Students can count on me for professional, personalized guidance that builds confidence, sparks creativity, and makes learning music fun.

Ashlyn has an amazing voice herself. She was part of choir in high school where she one state recognition in her accomplishments multiple times. Following high school she went to college and completed her BA in music education. She spent a summer in Italy studying opera and performing. She has much experience and is very talented. And she loves children, a benefit in teaching younger students.
