About Yuga
With over 6 years of experience with tutoring, I still view this profession as a constant learning process - I will never apply a one-size-fits-all methodology for my students. I view our sessions as a collaborative process, where I can offer you all of my existing strategies, and we find a combination that suits us the best. I begin and end every lesson with a debrief with my student to identify their needs exactly and help me curate the syllabus around their needs, and take feedback to improve our cohesion together. A typical lesson comprises an introduction to the jargon of the day at the beginning, a section of explanation, multiple exercises, worksheets, and games to ensure comprehension, and an open question-answer format throughout the session. As a multilingual student, who has studied in three languages throughout my life, I have experience understanding and explaining concepts in the easiest manner possible, and finding multiple ways to communicate. I have taught various English courses before, including GCSE, IGCSE, A Levels, IB, and general grammar and enhancement lessons for younger students.
