About Kornelia
I want to tutor because I truly love the French language and enjoy sharing that passion with others. Learning a new language can open doors to culture, travel, and opportunities, and I find it rewarding to help students discover that. I really enjoy the teaching environment seeing someone progress, gain confidence, and start to enjoy French is a great feeling. Tutoring also allows me to connect with students on an individual level, adapting lessons to their strengths and challenges. I like creating a supportive space where learning feels less intimidating and more motivating, helping each student reach their personal goals.

I hold National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher qualifications in French, as well as a bachelor’s degree in the language. I’ve tutored students aged 10–18, offering after-school lessons lasting around an hour (or longer if needed). Whether you’re completely new to French or preparing for SQA exams, I can adapt lessons to suit your level, pace, and personal goals. I enjoy making learning approachable and building confidence step by step, while also keeping lessons engaging and productive. My focus is always on creating a comfortable learning environment where progress feels achievable and tailored to each individual student.
