About Rachel
Hello, I’m Rachel! I am a passionate Graphic Designer with a strong focus on user-centric design. I create visually compelling and intuitive experiences that not only captivate but also serve the needs of the end user. I believe in making complex information easy to digest and stunning to look at.
I have been an artist my entire life, starting with drawing on my Grandmother with markers to dreaming of being a comic book artist most of my adolescence. Having always been infatuated with art and growing up in the age of computers I taught myself HTML/CSS to make various layouts on LiveJournal and Myspace. I focused on Illustration and Fine Arts in the beginning of my career and thus have a deep understanding of design principles as well as the rules of design. I aim to bridge the gap between creativity and functionality.
In my professional career I have experience working with various stakeholders creating digital and physical designs. Whether it be a lengthy book, packaging, or a website I always strive to create something beautiful and practical.
My strengths include a high degree of originality and creativity, branding, illustration, art direction, UX strategy, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment as well as independently.
