About Angel
As someone with experience working with college students intimidated by Statistics everyday, one way to help them understand confusing topics is through the comparison of using real-life problems. This helps them understand the topics a little better by making the connection between Statistics and it's use in the real world. Tutoring students has also taught me that no two students are the same. Designing a tailored tutoring plan for each individual student is imperative to helping them succeed in Statistics. Meeting with them and learning what teaching method is the best for them is one of the first things I attempt to do with my students.

Understanding each student's need is crucial in helping them achieve success, especially in Statistics. Certain students retain information more efficiently through various manners. Each tutoring session will be uniquely designed for the needs of each individual student. They will include a lecture or explanation on the topics that need to be covered, followed by demonstrations on how to solve or understand practice problems. If desired by the student, there will also be practice problems that the student would try on their own to test their understanding on the subjects. I specialize in high school and college level Statistics. I understand that Statistics can be challenging for some but please do not be afraid to reach out.
