About Tarina
Teaching is my passion it is what I was born to do. There is nothing better than seeing people learn something new and develop their skills. I enjoy celebrating even the smallest of achievements and helping people believe in themselves and take pride for what they can do. There is no such word as can’t as anything is possible if you don’t give up. Learning can take place in so many different environments and children don’t always learn best when sat at a table. There have been many studies conducted to show that teenagers can learn better when music is playing and I always encourage movement breaks and snacks as part of the learning process. My goal is to ensure my students succeed and show progress. I am an empathetic and kind person who can infuse energy, interest and inspire confidence to others.

I believe learning should be fun and I have a friendly, approachable and supportive manner. I have taught children and young people with disabilities including autism and non-verbal communicators. I am professional at all times and respectful of all my learners regardless of age, gender or ability. No question is ever a bad or silly question and to fail is simply the first attempt in learning. My purpose is to help children and young people succeed and grow through careful planning and preparation of lessons.
