About Joe
I have a real passion for music theory, composition and jazz improvisation. I love teaching these concepts in digestible ways, as theory and other subjects that feed off it can often seem overwhelming and difficult. I am a jazz trombone player by trade, with many compositions under my belt in many different genres.

I like to cater my teaching subjects to the student. I don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach, even when it comes to a textbook-based learning experience as is usual in music theory. I am experienced in all aspects of music theory, jazz improvisation (jazz musician by trade) and applying music theory to composition and songwriting.
