About Andrea
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, I recently graduated from the School for the Talented and Gifted in Dallas, Texas. This fall, I'll be attending the prestigious Dartmouth College, an Ivy League institution.
Throughout high school, I challenged myself by taking over 15 Advanced Placement courses across various subjects. My strongest areas are history, English, and Spanish language - having earned top scores of 5 on all the corresponding AP exams!
With my exceptional academic background and well-rounded knowledge base, I specialize in tutoring the humanities, including literature, writing, history, and Spanish language instruction. I am available for weekend lessons via Zoom or in person, and I provide personalized, engaging instruction tailored to each student's unique needs.

I offer customized, one-on-one tutoring lessons for students of all ages. With my extensive teaching materials and resources, I can instruct on various subjects, from reading and writing to mathematics, science, history, and more.
My specialty areas include phonics instruction using research-based methods and teaching Spanish language and culture. I own multiple phonics books and Spanish textbooks to facilitate practical lessons.
For Spanish learners, lessons will start with instruction primarily in English to build foundational skills. As your child progresses, I will transition the lessons to being entirely taught in Spanish for total language immersion.
