About Emily
In my teaching career, I have worked with students in New York, Los Angeles, and Florida to help them build their resumes and technique to prepare them for a career in this glorious and highly competitive industry.
I am here to teach your child how to work and thrive in an environment balanced by constructive criticism and genuine encouragement so that they can be one step closer to achieving their dreams without breaking the bank or their hearts.
After graduating from the University of Florida with my BFA in acting I knew that I wanted to help others get closer to the acting process so that they could feel the magic of their own work come to life!

To teach Acting I only pull from the best!
Using techniques from Michael Chekhov, Laban, Uta Hagen, and Steller Adler I help young actors (ages 5-18) learn how to use their bodies and dissect the text to craft believable characters and get comfortable in their own skin!
A typical lesson plan involves choosing a scene, monologue, or Musical theatre song and building character, blocking, and choices from scratch. Starting from cold reads and moving into fully memorized pieces that we can add to your reel!
I'm also happy to chat with parents about what they can do to help their children continue to grow and improve outside of our classes!
