About Hayley
I became a teacher because I hated school as a student and wanted to create an environment that students didn't mind being in. My goal was to keep at least one student in school! I enjoy building rapport with my students, allowing them to be themselves while learning (and retaining) information that they typically wouldn't be interested in.

My lessons are easy to understand, with exams and reiteration. I have no problem going over ideas and ways to understand content.
My lessons typically have an opener, with a reminder of what was previously learned as well as an introduction to the current content with several different learning strategies implemented.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I don't often think like a teacher... I will take into consideration what you're interested in and find a way to cater your learning to you.
My lessons are for anyone who needs a little better understanding. I typically work with high school students, grades 9-12, but have taught at the middle school level as well, 6-8. I often help peers as well.
