I am a graduate from The University of Manchester where I studied English literature and Drama. I am also currently undertaking a masters degree in screenwriting. I am an avid reader of literature and a lover of a film, passions I hope to share with my students!

I teach 1 hour lessons for children of all ages and levels. I offer a fun and productive approach to learning. In my lessons, I will encourage the student to develop their own thoughts surrounding a text/film and help them to develop their own authoritative voice in their writing.
I have two years of experience working as a support worker for children, a large part of which involved tutoring and supporting children with their ongoing studies. My time working as a support worker helped me to realise that so much of teaching is about creating a supportive space and inspiring confidence within the student. These are things that I will prioritise within my own teaching to ensure that all my students walk away from our lessons feeling accomplished and proud of themselves!
