About Hannah
I graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Hispanic and Global Studies and I recently obtained a certification in ESL. I have 6 years of experience working with students K-5, preparing lesson plans, leading fun, interactive activities and developing deep relationships through mentoring. I have taught English to various classes of diverse ethnicities through Legacy Mission Village, a refugee non-profit in Nashville, as well as Centro Hispano, a community center for the Latino community of Knoxville.
As a teacher and leader, I believe in the importance of humility, the constant desire to grow with my students, and the opportunity to have fun while learning!

A typical lesson includes interactive and dynamic lessons on vocabulary and grammar, while also focusing on listening and speaking in natural conversation in an age-adapted context to prepare language learners for the real world! I love to encourage my learners to understand the language in a context that is fun and relative to them in order to meet their unique language goals, and I desire to connect with my students personally through the target language!
With a degree in Hispanic Studies (Spanish) and a recently obtained TEFL certification, I offer tutoring in both languages for students at any proficiency level and all ages!
