About Shaleshni
I am Shaleshni, My Qualifications include a Masters of Arts in Education (USP), a Bachelors of Arts (USP)with double major in Literature & Language and Geography, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (USP).I have worked with the Department of Languages (Foundation College) at USP, on a part-time basis, since 2011. During this employment I tutored student face-face in the course LLF11 and also did the marking for ED153, UU114 and LLF11.
In addition to the above, I have obtained my qualifications from USP and therefore am highly familiar with students from the Pacific Region. I have worked with them in group assignments and other academic and social activities

The skills that I have gained have not only come from classroom teaching, but also from planning, preparation and high quality delivery of subject matter. I have always aim to perform at the highest level. Therefore I always take any opportunity to make myself better. To achieve that aim I have participated in a symposium on e-learning and a English Language Conference at USP, represented my school at a Financial Education Workshop and have been a National examiner for Fiji Year 12.While tutoring at USP, I performed my duties without any supervision in the classroom. I was able to teach as per the instructions of the course coordinator and the need of the students.
The same applies when I teach at high school. The day-to day teaching is without any supervision from superiors.
I know how to work independently and produce teaching and learning material through my own initiative. I have gained experience of how to deal with students with different learning capacities.
