About Emily
Hello! I'm Emily, and I am passionate about helping students excel in their subjects, and I specialise in French and Mathematics. I recently graduated from The University of Western Australia, with a Bachelor of Commerce. During my time at University, I tutored several students on units that I had completed before. My commitment to excellence and professionalism is unwavering. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow academically and personally. I am dedicated to tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each individual.
Originally from Mauritius, I am a native French speaker, and studied French until I graduated from high school. Furthermore, I also obtained an A* in Mathematics for my A-levels. Hence you can trust that you are in capable hands.

I employ a personalised approach to teaching that caters to each student's unique learning style. My methodology emphasises active learning, problem-solving and critical thinking, utilising visual aids and interactive exercises. I foster a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. My lessons typically run for 1 hour, but I am flexible and adjust the duration based on the individual needs and preferences of the students. I have tutored students in previous units that I have completed before, including Statistics and French, helping them improve their grades. My tutoring services are mainly suitable for students in Secondary school. Whether you are a beginner in French or aiming for fluency, I am here to support you.
