Graduate from the Victorian college of the arts Secondary School. I am a violin teacher and performer with over 14 years of experience, and I love helping students enjoy and grow through music.

About Honami
I studied at the 100% selective Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School in Melbourne and am currently completing a Bachelor of Music Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium, studying with the prestigious American teacher, Associate Professor Timothy Kantor. I hold AMusA and LMusA level qualifications, and have won a number of competitions. I’ve performed with orchestras such as the flagship Australian Youth Orchestra, and have also toured Germany and Czechia with the Melbourne String Ensemble. I teach because music transformed my life and I want every child I work with to discover that same sense of wonder, belonging, and joy that the violin gave me.

Drawing on both Suzuki and AMEB approaches, I tailor every lesson to your unique pace, personality, and interests and never rushing through repertoire, always celebrating progress. My goal isn't just to teach violin. It's to give you a lifelong love of music
