About Chan

I am a passionate and dedicated individual with a strong background in Chinese language and culture, eager to take on a Chinese tutor role. Having studied Mandarin for several years, I have developed a deep appreciation for the language and its nuances. Teaching is a way for me to share this passion and help others navigate their own language-learning journeys. I believe that language is a powerful tool for connection and understanding, and I am excited to empower my students to communicate effectively and confidently in Chinese. My goal is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that inspires curiosity and fosters growth.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is centered around a communicative and student-centered approach, which emphasizes active participation and real-world application of the Chinese language. I believe that language learning should be engaging and relevant, so I integrate cultural elements, current events, and practical scenarios into lessons. This approach not only helps students develop their language skills but also fosters a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture. I focus on building a strong foundation in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, ensuring a well-rounded language experience.
