About Jake
I was born and raised in London with no real guidance. As the older sibling to a lower class family I just had to figure things out on my own - even while working part time or doing odd jobs. Despite this, I managed to excel in my studies and start my own business ventures. From doing GCSE early, to triple As in A level, and then graduating from one of the top universities in the world, it all went so quickly. I now run my own business, where I previously raised 600k from investors for this during university. I have faced failures and learnt a huge deal from young. But I have always had this burning desire to do more. It is this that I look to try to install into my students and mentees. It is approaching life or work with perspective, doing things with care, and the fun part, excelling. I aspire to provide you the guidance I wish I had when I was younger and hope to bring fun into what seems like a daunting world of study and work.

The lessons are relaxed but impactful - based around you and your needs. As a recent graduate, I know what it is like to dread class or fight sleep during lessons, so I definitely know what not to do! Typical structures for tuition include: - Course overview: Quick fire questions to assess broad understanding weaknesses -> I aim for students to gain understanding and not for plain memorising -Work overview: Reviewing your exam history and previous work to help structure the lessons -Topic Learning and Exam Practice: After digesting a topic of interest together, practice exam questions with guidance - Homework -Not too heavy but practice makes perfect! 2 hours is ideal for regular classes, Ages: 13-21, Ideally undergoing the UK Education system, Remote lessons are preferred Regarding career guidance, university applications or mentorship, these are usually completely bespoke to the person.
