About Mel
Hello everyone! My name is Mel, I’m 22 years old, and I recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Biomedicine (2024). I have a strong interest in all areas of physiology, with a particular passion for neurophysiology and perinatal physiology. I’m currently pursuing postgraduate studies in these fields. Having been in your shoes, I understand how overwhelming academic pressure can feel. My personal approach to teaching will be to teach you mechanistically what is happening - when you understand the why, it becomes a lot easier to recall this information in exams as opposed to rote learning which can become tedious and overwhelming. Sessions will consist of you identifying where you’re struggling, in-depth explanations of the subject matter from relevant resources and practice questions to prompt active recall! With a sound understanding of the foundations you can achieve anything!
