About Hailey
My name is Ms. Potts, and I am a certified Elementary Educator in the state of Florida. I have worked three years in public school and taught Zoom through the pandemic. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's in Education. I have worked extensively in teaching positions including preschool education, acting lessons, formal classroom education, and tutoring. I have also been a performer since I was two years old and aim to infuse creativity in everything I do. I find the more someone is interested, the easier it is for them to learn. My goal is to make you passionate about learning and excel in any areas you struggle.

My lessons are designed to match the student's individual needs. No two students need the same things or learn the same ways. As a tutor, I will help identify the needs of the student and create a plan to help them with the skills they are ready to learn. This can range from intensive phonics lessons to writing and editing college-level essays. I have a very flexible teaching method and excel in adapting lessons to fit the student. As a result, I work well with students with ADHD and different abilities as I can make each lesson accessible to them and their unique needs as a learner. I also have a performance background, allowing me to infuse fun and creativity in my lessons. I am a certified K-6 Educator in the state of Florida, but have experience working with age ranges up through college. I am here to help you become the best learner you can be.

Hailey is patient, understanding, and creative. She is continuously finding new ways to connect with students. My nephew constantly struggled with language arts and now I find him reading for fun. Hailey is extremely patient. She would never rush him or become seemingly frustrated. She gave him the time to try and make mistakes and correct him in the gentlest way possible. Hailey is the biggest reason my nephew loves reading. Hailey is also amazing at virtual connections. We often had to do our sessions online and she was able to keep him engaged and interested the entire time.
