About Himmat
From my early childhood, I wanted to be a teacher and have an interaction with my students. Gradually my childhood dream became true and as a novice teacher some years back I wanted to teach my students everything, such as teaching my students basic English language. However, later I understood that it is reciprocal to give and take. In other words, I was not there to teach all the time, but I have learnt a lot from my students during activities while sharing their tasks and from that time I got introduced to reflective teaching where I was a guide and let my students share their thoughts and opinions that eventually led to student centred classes. At the end of each class each student ought to share one or two new things that he/she has learnt during the class and it was my personal motto to encourage my students to reflect upon the new things they have learnt.

Student-centred approach and student-led classes are the main approaches that are used in my classes including various engaging activities to make the classes more engaging and to convey the intended learning content/information more effectively. Students' needs are the primary concern of mine as a reflective practitioner.
