About Preston
I am a University of Melbourne graduate with a strong interest in Economics, Finance, Econometrics, Mathematics and related business subjects. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts in a clear and simple way. I know how stressful exams and assignments can be, so I aim to make lessons supportive, structured and practical. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their understanding and develop better problem-solving skills.

My lessons are structured, clear and tailored to each student’s needs. I usually begin by identifying the topics the student struggles with, then explain the concept and the intuition using simple examples and relatable ideas before working through practice questions together. I focus on teaching the intuition for ideas and topics, exam preparation and skills, problem-solving techniques and building confidence. Lessons are suitable for high school and university students studying Economics, Maths or Business-related subjects, and typically can run for 1-2 hours depending on students needs/requests.
