About Spencer
I am here for YOU. I've spent 5 years tutoring and have learned how to change my teaching style to meet your needs. I started tutoring in high school and continued with my own company as well as tutoring through my university. I've helped teach students from age 10 to age 55. My past students describe me as "patient" and "effective" -- I pride myself in versatility.

My lessons are tailored to fit my students. The things I value most for them are: learned confidence, thorough understanding, and the ability to re-articulate concepts. For my students, I'll go in knowing strengths and weaknesses as well as personal goals. I design the pace of the lesson with 3-5 goals for the end of each session and work to those goals after checking diagnostics. I have a wide range of subject knowledge and my background in the theater world has given me the keys to helping out all kinds of students -- especially those that are struggling in STEM.
