About David
My background includes: BS in Microbiology from Arizona State University PhD in Biomedical Sciences (Medical school) from Vanderbilt University. I have worked in academia, industry, and research positions. In addition, I have hands-on expertise in all areas of science. My teaching roles have included courses for undergraduate, graduate, and medical students. Further, I have taught basic skills to inner-city youth.

My approach involves true understanding of concepts to boost retention versus memorization techniques. The approach yields long term results and the ability to understand figures, tables and charts from which the data is generated.
It is critical to understand these skills so that all of the information being provided in class or individual study is retained in a simple context.
