About Neil
I have worked as a geologist in the environment sector for over 20 years. I have taught children about evolution and the history of life on Earth. In a professional environment, I have taught environmental/geological history to adults. I have guided several students through their A level geology exams, particularly bolstering their knowledge of topics learnt in class.

I base my classes by first developing an appreciation of how knowledgeable the students are - beginner, intermediate or advanced. I use as many examples (and illustrations) to get the details across. I use my collection of fossils, rocks and minerals to demonstrate my points as far as possible.
