About Danielle
My name is Danielle. I am a 20-year-old trained actress, dancer and model based in the UK after moving here from South Africa, with over two years' experience in this industry. I have featured appearance in Netflix productions like Scoop and Geek Girl, as well as music videos on YouTube, and pantomimes where I have played lead character Cinderella and Heidi Goose in Mother Goose. Growing up I’ve always had a passion for helping people, and currently I’m taking a bit of a break from acting so I can focus on my family as well as wanting to travel. But whilst I am doing that, why not spend my free time giving the tools and techniques that can be so specifically important to break into the industry. After being on set with hundreds of people, and talking and making friends, I always find myself helping others and giving them advice on what to do as they never know which companies to go with and how to do this and that. Whether you are just starting out or have finished your diploma/A-level in performing arts, and you want to book your first gig in the industry but don’t know where to start or what tools you need, I can help with that. From the start we will work on your headshots, showreels, CV, connections, applying for agencies etc. I want to help you! I want to see examples of your work and how we can tweak areas to improve your skill. I want to help find your unique selling point and stretch your expressions to the maximum. We will also be doing script analysis, vocal exercises, mental exercises, and overviewing different key methods of acting, how to act when you are on set, learning the different crew terms and filming terms. Show me your raw self! At the end of the day, I can only guide you. But only you can take your career to the full extent. Don’t rely on other people in this industry as it can be full of false promises, you need to learn to be independent and have a strong stomach ready for a lot of rejection. If you are doing acting for the fame and for the money, then this industry is NOT for you! This is a key moment for you to be professional whilst taking on some quirky and difficult characters, whether you are a star actor or a character actor.
