About Lorna
I am currently enrolled in a Master's degree studying International Development, and would love to share my passion for history and politics with a younger student.
Having been through the school system myself, I understand the immense pressure involved with taking these high-stakes exams, and will do my best to make learning these subjects exciting and enjoyable.

I prioritise facilitative learning and encourage students to engage with their subject through active methods above passive styles, such as lectures or joint reading. Lessons typically last 1 hour.
I have experience as a tutor working for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), tutoring English to local refugee families, and value patience and individuality.
My lessons are targeted at those taking A-Levels, GCSE and younger.
