About Iz
I am a qualified mental health nurse with experience working alongside families, young adults and elderly people with dementia.
My real passion is for empowering the people I meet to face the world with confidence, and to help them to become the authors of their own lives.
I'm taking a break from the stressful healthcare world and leaning into the realm of academia. My interests are especially in Human Biology, classical literature, feminist works and cognitive behavioural psychology.
Succeeding in education did not come easily to me, and so I specialise in explaining concepts, preparing students for tests, exams and coursework in the least anxiety-provoking manner possible, and enabling them to reach their full potential.

I base my sessions on the basic specification for your chosen qualification and focus on building a strong basic understanding on which to further your knowledge. I help you with exam techniques and simple ways to pick up extra marks. I hope to share some of my enthusiasm for the subject matter with you, and encourage you to learn.
