About Eimear
I have been playing music all my life and am eager to share my skills and knowledge through tutoring in both piano and violin lessons.
I have achieved 2:1 degree in Music and Audio production, from Queens University Belfast.
I have experience teaching both in group and one to one settings in music schools and primary schools around Northern Ireland.
I have performed in concerts in both solo and ensemble settings. Some of these include workshops with established musicians such as Martin Tourish, members of the Ulster Orchestra, Irish traditional group MOXIE etc...
Most recently I have performed as part of the Inishowen Traditional Music Project, directed by Martin Tourish, in the National Concert Hall in Dublin earlier this year.

I have 7 years experience in tutoring these instruments and am currently studying to become a qualified teacher in music. My aim is to provide lessons that engage students of all ages and abilities which can be tailored to each individual/learning styles. I aim to boost confidence in students and create an enjoyable learning environment to ensure the students get the most out of each lesson provided. For me, student welfare is just important as the course content I teach, and I aim to ease any anxiety students may feel, whether that is performance, exam or general.
