He was an outstanding student and student athlete, graduating first in his class. After high school, Matt earned a bachelor's degree from Albion College and became a high school English teacher and cross country & track coach. Matt has been teaching and coaching for 30 years now.
During his tenure as a teacher, Matt continued his education. He completed a programs the Andrews University K- 12 reading program, designed to aid the slower readers in his high school classes in better overcoming the challenges they face. Matt also the Master's degree program in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University, a "weekend only" program.
As an instructor at IU South Bend and two other area colleges, I am familiar with the challenges faced by both traditional and non-traditional students. Given his commitment to education, Matthew Remmo is an excellent resource and instructor. I am happy to give him my whole hearted endorsement.
