About Mark
I am from California originally and qualified to practice law in that state. I spent 30 years abroad, living and teaching law in five countries. I don't view my legal career as a way to cash in, rather as allowing me to do valuable work and to continue studying and writing on subjects that interest me, which group continues to expand all the time.

I teach law using a modified Socratic Method, not to put students on the spot or humiliate them, but to demonstrate to them how to examine your most important source material (case decisions and statutes) as an invaluable source of information. I teach students not just how to answer my questions, but to ask their own, because education should be a process where you learn to be self-sufficient in learning, so that in the end you can teach yourself anything you need to know.
