About Nurkeldi
I'm a research student at University of Calgary. My main field of expertise is Computational Mechanics, which means I make mathematical models of physical systems and simulate them using high-performance computers. Thanks to this, I have a strong background in engineering, math, physics and computer science. I am also a teaching assistant at the Mechanical Engineering department, which helped me to share what I know with other curious learners in the most effective way.

Approach and Method:
I focus on building real understanding instead of memorization. I start by breaking complex ideas into smaller logical steps and use visuals, examples, and short practice problems to connect theory with intuition.
Lesson Plan:
A typical session starts with a quick review, then we go through examples together. I let students try problems on their own while I guide them through their reasoning. We finish by summarizing key takeaways and fixing common mistakes.
What Sets Me Apart:
I’m patient, good at explaining concepts in plain language, and can adapt to different learning styles. I’ve been the “go-to” classmate for tough topics because I make hard stuff sound simple.
Who It’s For:
I mainly tutor undergrad students in mechanics, physics, and math—especially those who struggle with linking formulas to physical meaning or problem-solving steps.
