About Susan
I'm a graduate from the University of South Africa and have a TEFL certificate. I have been teaching for around two years now. I have taught many students. I can’t tell you exactly how many I have taught, but I have taught over 300 students over the past two years. I have helped my students learn English and gain confidence in using English in real-life situations. Their general understanding and usage of English has improved, and many started to enjoy learning English. I have taught in Vietnam, China, Ethiopia, Taiwan, and South Africa, so I have experience teaching people from different cultural backgrounds. I have also taught people of different ages, both online and in face-to-face classes.

I’m a graduate student from South Africa. I have a certificate in ‘Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Adults’ (TEFLA) and have been teaching for two years now. Most of the students I have taught were either beginners or intermediate-level students. I teach students of different ages from different parts of the world.
My lessons are practical and aimed at helping you feel more confident in using English. The topics I cover are based on real-life situations, like ordering at a restaurant or asking someone for their opinion. The main aim of my lessons is to get my students to talk as much as possible.
The vocabulary I cover depends on the level of the student. I do my best to make sure the lesson is simple and that you always learn new vocabulary. I always explain a bit of grammar, but I do not focus on it too much. The students speak and I correct their grammar and explain why I corrected it.
I believe that learning a new language should be fun and interesting. I also think it should be practical so that the students gain more confidence and learn English that they can use in real life. That is why I always do my best to make the lessons interesting, relevant, and interactive.
