About Sophie
I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May with a degree in Psychology and English. I am currently pursuing a masters degree at Lesley University and wish to help others find their voice to become confident writers.
I have taken every kind of writing class from poetry, creative writing, news-writing to critical analysis journaling. Because of this, I know what exercises and activities push writers to find themselves on the page. During my undergrad, I was the Student Body President, and consider myself a natural leader. Teaching is something I've always been passionate about; my friends would call me "grammarly.com" because I was their free writing assistant. Helping peers, colleagues, and classmates on their essays, emails and papers was something I loved to do. I am eager to continue my passion for writing and to help others gain the same passion in any creative or analytical capacity.

Everyone has a unique voice in their writing. My job is to help students find their voice by giving them the confidence and knowledge on what makes them and their voice stand out.
Writing is about experience, no one becomes a great writer over night but sometimes it's hard to know where to start. My lessons help students learn and develop a critical lens for their own and others writing through engaging activities, reflections, and prompts.
