About Sophie
I obtained my DEM (Diploma of musical studies) in Flute at the Regional Conservatory of Lyon in 2011. Meanwhile, I studied the traverso to complete my training. I perfected myself with flutists such as Juliette Hurel and José-Daniel Castellon. I participated in many orchestra sessions, and recently as a soloist with the Ensemble musical de Chambéry. Klezmer music also fascinates me, I was part of a set klezmer during my studies at the Conservatoire de Lyon.

It's been a few years since I started teaching flute, and I have always had a very good contact with my students. I am motivated to start a flute for a student, but also to advance a student who already has a level. I like sharing and exchange. Also, being able to duet with my student, and even organize trios with another student, is a method I have always practiced. My students enjoy the course and it becomes a real pleasure and sharing after the efforts provided. I like teaching all kinds of styles, from classical to variety. Adapting to the student is my key word. I am able to prepare students for competitions and exams. I can also complete my teaching with the learning of the piccolo flute.
