About Preethy
I’m a friendly and approachable tutor who takes the time to make sure students really understand what they’re learning. Whether I’m helping with AP Physics, Java, SAT prep, or CBE exams, I break things down step by step and explain the "why" behind each concept so it actually clicks. I know that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to meet their needs and help them feel confident. My goal is always to create a supportive space where students aren’t afraid to ask questions and feel encouraged to keep improving.

I have worked extensively as a tutor across a variety of subjects and settings, supporting students from elementary school through college. My tutoring journey began during my high school years, and since then I have worked independently and through reputable tutoring institutions to help students master subjects such as mathematics, English, standardized test preparation (including SAT and ACT), and Credit by Exam (CBE) readiness. My approach is highly flexible and adaptive. I tailor each session based on the student’s goals, learning style, and confidence level. I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including English language learners, students with IEPs, and high-achieving students aiming for top test scores. I focus on building both subject mastery and academic confidence. I believe that learning should feel empowering, and I strive to explain complex topics in a way that feels natural and relatable. This has allowed me to form lasting educational relationships and help students achieve meaningful academic growth.
