About Daphne
I spent a year abroad as an au pair in Paris, where I taught multiple young children basic English and learned how to coach beginners in a new language. I also helped my host children with their French grammar homework, and am happy to continue helping students work on this subject. I find learning a new language very exciting, but it can be frustrating and daunting at times, so I look forward to lending extra help and providing encouragement!

I first get to know the student so that I can cater readings and activities to their interests. I like to incorporate French music and sections of books into lessons as well. As I have learned French myself and have tutored children in foreign languages, I have learned first hand useful techniques for picking up a language. I am happy to help French learners of any level, whether they are completely new to the language, intermediate, or intermediate advanced.
