About Jennifer
I have over 200 hours of experience as a math tutor for ages K-12. As a student, I studied health informatics with a focus in math, meaning I went through very high level university level courses to get to where I am today. I not only use these skills in my full time job every day, but I also know what skills are important to learn and how to establish a knowledge foundation in math that will set you up for future success.
I am the kind of person that always wants to live life with a smile on my face, and I know that for most people math is boring. But I also know it‘s important, so I’ll do everything I can to make sure you have as much fun as possible while we’re working together.

I primarily focus on homework help with practice problems to help improve skills my students may be struggling with. I take the time to explain things in many different ways and approach problems from multiple ways of thinking. I can either work through problems with students live or I accept problem sets in advance so I can be better prepared for lessons.
My lessons are online, so I and (if possible) my students do problems by writing them and screen sharing on a platform like OneNote or another website/software. I promise, I have been doing this for a while so my handwriting is pretty good! But if we need to chat and find a better solution just reach out.
