About Lydia
I graduated from Cambridge University a year ago, and since then up til now have worked as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school. I like dancing and politics, and I have ADHD so am really keen to mentor anyone with specific learning difficulties, including helping with university applications and advising on how to get through uni with an SpLD.

I prefer to teach interactively, although part of this involves being sensitive and responsive to what the learner wants - so I am flexible to whatever you feel works best for you. I’ve always found that a lesson guided by dialogue and mutual responsiveness to each others’ ideas helps encourage creativity, and consolidate anything you really need to hammer down. We learn by doing, that’s how I approach education.

I have known Lydia for many years now. She is a very perceptive and caring teacher and can readily adjust her style to suit the learner, she is passionate about what she teachers and this I believe this is most important to engage learners and keep the content interesting. I highly recommend!
