About Stacy
Over the past 13 years of teaching math, I have worked with students across all levels and abilities, which has given me a deep understanding of diverse learning needs. This experience allows me to quickly build rapport, relate to students’ struggles, and adapt instruction so each learner feels supported and challenged. My classroom is structured, respectful, and encouraging, which helps students feel safe taking risks and asking questions. By combining high expectations with empathy and clear communication, I inspire confidence in students and reassure families and colleagues of my professionalism and commitment to student success.

My math lessons are warm, collaborative spaces where students feel safe to take risks and grow. Each lesson blends clear structure with hands-on activities, real-life connections, and plenty of discussion so students can talk through their thinking. I differentiate tasks, use visuals and manipulatives, and check in often so every learner feels seen, supported, and challenged at the right level. Over time, this approach helps students build genuine confidence in math, pride in their progress, and a belief that they can tackle difficult problems.
