About AMINA
At the age of 53 I escaped domestic violence. Writing about my experience helped heal me. Atthe age of 60 I went to university and gained a BA hons (1st class) in english and Creative Writing. I run Creative Writing workshops for women affected by domesic violence. Participants start by writing a letter to someone who has affected them in a negative way. Curing the course of the workshop the negative voice is removed and at the end of the course, participants have produced an empowering monologue.
