About Cece
As a dancer and an educator, I teach with energy, integrity, and a dual perspective,taking what I learned as a student and dancer myself, while creating an environment that is safe for dance exploration. Whether the student is an experienced dancer or new to dance, I aim to provide plentiful opportunities for the students to make connections with the things taught in class and their personal lives, and the multitude of events happening around them- mind, body, and spirit. My approach to discipline is practiced with consistency, but not restrictive.
I strive to be a warm- demanding teacher, so students follow my directions but yet comfortable.

My student-based teaching environment will provide students with the confidence needed to fully invest in and explore dance activities. I allow them freedom to creatively express their point-of-view without criticism but with guidance. Continuing to gather more knowledge about dance as an artform, different cultures, and new experiences enables me to be a faucet of knowledge.
