About Emmanuel
I am 24 years old. I studied mathematics in college and was a tutor for 2 years. Originally, I planned to be an Actuary but I wanted to do something different so I became a Trader on Wall Street in NYC. I enjoy what I do, but I enjoy tutoring a lot! I’m flexible with my times and have openings late in afternoon/evening and weekends. I’m confident I will be able to help you achieve your goals and if I can’t , I’ll be sure to communicate with you! I’m a firm believer in not wasting peoples time but ultimately I’m here and excited to help!

I was a mathematics tutor for two years at my university. I helped students in calculus, statistics, geometry, and algebra. I’m currently working in finance but enjoy tutoring in math. I’m happy to assist where I can! For my teaching methods, I usually write down a game plan of what we want to accomplish for each session. Before we go through each session, I’ll typically ask “did you read the textbook lesson”. I like to go through the textbook examples and questions throughout the session as well. I write down attainable target goals and steps to achieve them. I typically work with College level students, but I’m happy to work with High School students too!
