About Gage
I was able to get a 96% average in high school from a small town, get a 33 on the ACT, and go to the University of North Carolina as an out-of-state student, where I was nominated for the Fulbright award and received a 168 on the LSAT.
I experienced a lot of family problems and personal anxieties along the way. People can be quite mean in school and outside stressors can be high. I was able to overcome this and get comfortable speaking in front of large crowds, working in private equity and venture capital, and even starting my own company. I’d really like to help you succeed in classwork and in the areas outside school too.

I am experienced in breaking down a complex topic into simple to understand parts (and hey, guess what, that is one of the secrets to mathematics too :) )
My lessons will focus on first principle competencies relative to what the student most needs to learn to achieve their goals. In my own life, I try to properly diagnose limiting constraints first, and then develop a plan to address these constraints. Math is like this too. Every student has different competencies and constraints and we can identify these and improve upon them.
There is a certain point at which someone can become good enough at solving these problems that the stress goes away and the problems become fun. It is my hope for all students to experience this feeling.
