About Luiza
I was born and raised in Germany. As a dual Canadian and German citizen, I know exactly what it feels like to bridge two different worlds. Because of my own background, I deeply understand the unique struggles, vulnerability, and anxiety that come with learning a new language—especially if you are planning a life-changing move to a new place. I know how intimidating it can be to face language barriers, and that firsthand experience is exactly what inspires me to teach. I want to make that transition smoother, friendlier, and much less daunting for you.
Beyond languages, my biggest passion lies in the arts and culture. Having completed my Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management at King’s College London, I love bringing these vibrant topics into our lessons. To me, a language is never just a list of textbook vocabulary; it is a living, breathing gateway to understanding a culture and its people.At my core, I am a very personable, warm, and sweet mentor. My teaching philosophy is simple: I meet you exactly where you are in your learning journey. There is no judgement, no rush, and no pressure in my lessons.
