About Emily
In the past, I have worked with high school and college level students on improving and editing their writing, and I have gladly seen progress over time in students' writing. I have also worked on high school and college publications as both a writer and an editor, where I have helped guide students to improve their writing abilities.

I approach a topic by first discussing what students might struggle with regarding the topic and trying to answer their questions by helping them discover the answer through methods that will keep them interested and help them understand why a topic is important to them. As a college student myself, I understand what it is like to be in a classroom setting and to try to constantly learn and improve while understanding how I will benefit from learning a certain topic. As a result, I try to teach students in a way that will best apply to them. I enjoy working with students of all ages through the high school level.
