About Alistair
I am a recent graduate from Newcastle University, leaving with a first-class master's degree in medicinal chemistry. Having been fortunate enough to have 4 teachers in my family, I received help whilst studying at school and sixth form that allowed me to push on and achieve the top grades. Now having finished studying myself, I want to provide others with the guidance needed to reach their goals.
Long term I want to teach, but I am currently fulfilling another goal of mine by working in the chemical industry. Tutoring will give me the opportunity to help you, but you will also be helping me by allowing me to gain experience in teaching.

I like to teach in an engaging style, interacting with the student using questions to track their understanding throughout a lesson. In terms of resources, I provide an online handout to be filled out during each lesson that can later be referred to for revision.
I offer both 30-minute and 60-minute sessions.
Lessons can be made for any age group upon request, however, I primarily focus on GCSE (Year 10 and 11) and A-level (Year 12 and 13).
