About Carmen
I have recently completed a degree in History from the University of Warwick, earning a 2.1. overall with a First Class in my dissertation. I am specifically interested in 20th Century history and race relations, however have studied a multitude of periods and eras in my career - from the Renaissance to the Arab-Israeli Conflict.
I consider myself a people person, who loves to help in any way I can! It is very important to me that each pupil/student receives relevant and specific help to them - whether that be increasing skill and depth of knowledge, or merely helping develop confidence in the field through practice and consolidation.
I have had a wide variety of experience, which includes:
- English and Maths tutor to primary school pupil
- piano and music theory tutor to a wide range of ages and abilities
- mentor to two university students.
